LPC Supervision

As a future counselor, you likely have questions about licensure that will allow you to practice as a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor and eventually, independently, as a Licensed Professional Counselor. You will need to practice as a LLPC for a time, before becoming an LPC. After you receive your LLPC, you must obtain at least 3000 hours of clinical work experience, and 100 hours of clinical supervision. This is where our professional relationship comes into play! Obtaining supervision is not just about fulfilling requirements so you can take the next step in your career. Supervision is an investment in yourself as you continue to evolve from student to practitioner.

One-on-one supervision is an invaluable resource as you continue to grow as an LLPC. Individualized feedback, personalized sessions (virtual or in person), clinical case studies, and optional site visits are just a few of the various resources you will receive with this service.

BC-DMT, R-DMT supervision

BC-DMT Supervision

The BC-DMT credential acknowledges the attainment of the advanced, Board Certified level of dance/movement therapy practice. Requirements for Board Certification are set by the Dance/Movement Therapy Certification Board. To be eligible to apply, one must have been granted the R-DMT; either through receiving their Masters Degree from an Approved Program or having been granted the R-DMT via the Alternate Route. Registered Dance/Movement Therapists must also have completed at least forty-eight (48) hours of clinical supervision by a BC-DMT over the 3,640 hours of their clinical employment.

One-on-one dance/movement therapy supervision offers an individualized embodied experience as you continue to advance your expertise in the field. Personalized feedback sessions (virtual or in person), movement experientials, consultation on client case studies, BC-DMT essay review, and site visits are some of the various resources you will receive with this service.

Art Therapy Supervision

Art therapy supervision, as outlined by the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB), is an essential component of the journey towards becoming a Registered Art Therapist (ATR). To qualify for ATR status, candidates must complete a minimum of 1,000 post-education, direct client contact hours using art therapy, and 100 hours of supervision, with at least 50 hours provided by an ATR-BC (Board Certified Art Therapist). Additional hours may be supervised by an ATR or a master’s or higher fully licensed or credentialed practitioner with a master’s degree or higher in art therapy or a related mental health field and whose license/credential is for independent practice.

Our ATR supervision program offers both individual and group supervision to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. Individual supervision provides a tailored, embodied experience where you can receive personalized feedback, engage in experientials, discuss client case studies, and grow as an individual and therapist. Group supervision offers a collaborative environment where you can learn from peers, share experiences, and gain insights from diverse perspectives.

With the flexibility of online supervision, you can access support and guidance from anywhere, with occasional opportunities for in-person sessions throughout the supervision process. Whether you’re seeking to deepen your understanding of art therapy techniques, refine your clinical skills, or prepare for ATR certification, our supervision program is designed to support your professional growth and development in the field of art therapy.
