Jaclyn cole

R-DMT, (lLMFT)

I am a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Marriage and Family Therapist. I attended Antioch University New England to complete my duel Masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapy, after previously completing my bachelors in Neurobiology from Purdue University. Before receiving my masters, I competed and instructed ballroom dance professionally.

My experiences ranges in all ages from toddlers to seniors, with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, and trauma work. I work through a systemic lens, which means we will look at how your relationships and environment have an impact on your life. I specialize in Couples therapy, or assisting individuals who have relationship related goals. My theory of therapy blends Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, Attachment Theory and evidence from the Gottman Method.

Our relationships have an enormous impact on our lives, and having tension in our most important relationships can cause tension in all areas of our lives. I understand the importance of resolving the stress in our relationships, and the care and patience it takes to do so. Together, we can help develop the tools to create improved communication and support to work towards healthy connections in life.
